Van Ingen taxidermy leopard mount on shield

A superb example of fine Van Ingen taxidermy - A leopard head/shoulder mount on original ebonised shield by Van Ingen & Van Ingen of Mysore. This piece is a piece of history from the Colonial India and Shikar hunting era. Sadly the Van Ingen Factory in Mysore was demolished in 2009 leaving rare mounts like this as part of their legacy.

The leopard mount is in fine condition and a striking addition to any gentlemens or living room; Look no further than this rare piece.

*Pre-Cites permit included, also available for countries outside of Australia.
